[the kitten hisses at first, but doesn't swipe out at Karamatsu. rather, it moves closer to his hand and sniffs.

Osomatsu looks relieved. bringing in a kitten meant that they'd have to take care of it. or, rather, that Ichimatsu would take care of it. but Osomatsu couldn't just give it to him without asking for Karamatsu's permission. the second oldest was living here too, now]

It's one of the kittens from work! On special occasions, we have nights where people can come in and cuddle animals. I decided to sneak this one home.

_{[ Karamatsu gasps softly, instantly covering his lips with his hands. That was a bit loud. ]}

Ah, you stole a cat from your workplace...!? What if they find out, brother?!

There are so many cats there. One little kitten isn't gonna be missed. It's not like I grabbed one of the rabbits.

[he reaches down to pet the kitten. it's definitely tame, because it's been handled so much]

Besides. [he picks it up and holds it in front of his face] It's super cute, right? Riiiiight? [gently wags the kitten in front of Karamatsu's face now] Karamachuuuuu~?

_{[ Karamatsu's eyes watch the kitten dully but he finally places his palm on Osomatsu's wrist and gently encourages his hand aside. Allow him to fuss, cause here he goes: ]}

...What if he has a family and you separated him from his family?

[Osomatsu lowers the kitten and gently places it back in the box]

Geez, I try to do something nice for Ichimatsu, an' all you do is complain. [SIGH his life is so suffering] I don't know where the kittens came from, so maybe they were part of a family. But kittens are taken from their families all the time, and puppies, too! That's how they get adopted!

B—But just imagine.. what if it was a litter of six? Just like us?

He seems rather content, which is good. Perhaps it won't be so bad.. as long as he is very happy with us. Ichimatsu will be pleased, regardless. He needs a friend besides us here, y'know.
<sub>[ yyyyeah. Realization that your brothers are your only friends. Apparently all Ichimatsu needs is that.. and a cat friend, too. He cannot help but think of the ESP kitty back home and how Ichimatsu loves it so much.

Finally, Karamatsu makes a satisfied noise, like he has already come to a conclusion. ]</sub>

[it's not like they weren't all split apart now, too. Osomatsu tries not to think about that. he still believes that Choromatsu will come wandering back into Little Hades, the way Ichimatsu did. he has to believe that they'll all be together again, otherwise.....

anyway, if Ichimatsu wanted to make friends, he needed to get out more. hopefully the kitten would improve his mood]
