[He stops beating his head into the floor at least, though he's not sure if Karamatsu's hand in his hair feels nice or hurts more. He's so overstimulated by being in constant pain for going on twenty hours that he's just... tingling, really. Like a full-body sense of pins and needles. He hates it, thanks. He doesn't dissuade the hand, either way, grumbling faintly.]

_{[ At least Ichimatsu has stopped banging his head on the floor, thank God. That was painful to watch. So he keeps.. trying to comfort him, unsure of the phenomenon that is happening right now or how to fix it. ]}

Didn't some of those potions do other things?
_{[ He'll understand eventually, but Ichimatsu isn't being the most descriptive about it either to understand. ]}

_{[ He frowns a little bit and lifts his hand to touch lightly over his swollen eye. His night didn't go according to plan either. ]}

This place.. it seems to play tricks on us sometimes. I was supposed to get linked up with a "soul mate" but we had an argument instead.

[He snorts faintly, looking up and finally noticing the darkened state of Karamatsu's eye.]

...y'got punched in the face? I'll have to meet this soulmate of yours.

_{[ Him. It comes out so naturally, Karamatsu doesn't even notice until after he's said it. ]}

Er.. w-well, I did not know I would get paired up with a he! It was shocking!

[He blinks, almost not catching it from how easily Karamatsu says it, and then turns to look at him. His expression is startlingly mild, and his mouth pulls crooked.]

Either Quarantine likes playing jokes on us shitty virgin NEETs, or at least two of us are meant to like dudes. [He doesn't specifically mention himself, but who else would he throw under the bus, especially when it's in a vague attempt to soothe Karamatsu?]

[Oh God Why. He turns a really hilarious shade of scarlet to his ears, and proceeds to curl entirely in on himself. No, no that's okay, he'll pass, he does not want to tell his brother that he got matched as fucking Reaper's soulmate. Nope.]

_{[ Karamatsu isn't bright, but he can tell that Ichimatsu is nervous about something. ]}

[Because he's embarrassed, and probably this conversation is making him realize a whole entire doki is being had. F u c k.]

I'm probably just gonna sit and soak, so do what you want. [Come sit with him, bathing alone is weird.]

[He didn't, but at the same time not outright telling him to go the fuck away is almost like inviting him when it's Ichimatsu. So, maybe he's not entirely wrong. He grumbles again, slowly moving to stand and staying much further hunched up than usual.]
